SSK!

We did it! We had our first meeting of SSK!, and it was pretty darn neat.

No, we did not fill the place to capacity-but we had a handful of people who were delighted enough to recommend the group to others. I think we did the right thing by inviting all fiber arts lovers. At one point, three people were crocheting, and Precious Child plans to bring her drop spindle and roving next meeting.

I actually knitted about an inch into my current project, without grievous errors.

Precious Child cast on a mitten, and finished it before we departed. Have a look:

Pretty neat, huh? But she bemoans this Evil Mitten of Doom, as it simply does not fit a real human hand. And it's the second try-the first she knit up to the "Man's" size, and it was large enough to carry a week's groceries. This is the "Child's" size. Hoo baby.
